This Sunday, September 5 – Ron Van Dyke: ARE YOU WILLING TO DECLARE PEACE?
We all tend to focus most of our attention on what goes on around us, apparently on the outside. What if the outside is merely a reflection of what is going on inside of us? We all want peace. Is that true? If so, are we willing to look at ways we wage war inside of us? Are we willing to lay down the swords we use to divide one part of our being from another part? True power begins with making peace.
Sunday, September 5, 1:30-3:30pm – Ron Van Dyke: THE POWER OF BEING AT PEACE
Grab a bite to eat, then come back and join Ron for a follow-up discussion on his talk. This will be interactive and participation is highly encouraged as we look at practical ways to empower ourselves to co-create changes that will inevitably lead to a more peaceful life. Next Sunday, September 12 – Terry Gurley: THE TRUTH ABOUT HYPNOSIS
Terry Gurley, a Certified Master Hypnotist, will dispell the Myths and Misconceptions about hypnosis. Learn about the close relationship between thinking and physiology (i.e. even though you may consciously know to eat healthy, exercise, etc., why it is not always easy to change habits with your conscious mind alone). Learn how you can clear past emotional traumas, release fears and phobias, connect more deeply with your spiritual nature, and more. Using hypnosis, many forms of energetic blockages can be released to allow greater creativity.

KIDS CORNER every Sunday at The New Way. Kari Spinosa, Ron's daughter, will be teaching and doing crafts with the children. It will be about values, not fear and guilt-based religion. So, if you have children or grand-children, start bringing them on Sunday mornings. Krissi will be there as well, watching the little ones who are too young to participate in the activites designed for 4-10 year olds.
HIGHER SOUND CHOIR PRACTICE - Thursdays, 6:30-8:30pm

SOUL POWER GROUP with Marsha Valutis – Every Monday, 7pm
This takes place in Melbourne Beach. We learn and practice Soul Songs, Soul Communication, Soul Dance, Soul Movement, Soul Orders, Soul Tapping, Soul Conferencing, Soul Healing and Say Hello Healing. Each session will involve some teaching, some practice and some sharing. Just by singing soul songs, our lives begin to change. Come and discover for yourself these simple techniques for everlasting change, all within your grasp, right now. Suggested donation, $10. SPIRITUAL DRUM CIRCLE – Every Tuesday, 6-7:30pm
Group drumming is a fun and exciting way to offset the effects of stress and can lead to positive biological changes. Vibrations of the drum sound organize the water in our bodies on a cellular level. The energy of the sound can increase the body chemicals that relate to immunity. Drumming stops the chatter of the mind and frees us from the cage of doubts, fears and negative habits. Drumming helps us to connect to our inner guidance that inspires us to be fully present with our passion. In this drumming class led by Fred Goodnight, we will explore basic hand and stick techniques and learn basic rhythms from Africa, Brazil and urban application. We will be able to experience the connection to each other, Mother Earth and our own inner rhythm, which can be a healing force. We will use chants, body percussion, movement, vocal phrases and intention. All ages and levels are welcome. There will be a few percussion instruments to loan, but please bring a drum if you have one. This will be an ongoing class every Tuesday. The cost is $10 for this class. Rev. Sigi Casey: SUNSHINE HEALING SERVICE – Every Wednesday, 11:30am-12:30pm
This will be an ongoing Service every Wednesday. No charge, love offering always appreciated to pay bills for electricity etc. Rev. Sigi has held this service since 1993 in her center and is offering this powerful prayer circle to heal and send Reiki to all who have asked to be on the healing list as well as to the ones who are present. All Reiki practitioners are welcomed to lay on hands on people present while they are in sitting position. Absentee Reiki will be sent to all on the prayer list as well. Pure intent and willingness to speak the word for one another as well as for self and the trust in the outcome is all that is required. PERSPECTIVES with Ron & Friends – Every Wednesday, 7-9pm
September 1, 7-9pm – THE PYRAMID CODE with Dr. Carmen Boulter. "The Pyramid Code" (222 minutes, Oct. 2009) is a series of five programs that explore the pyramid fields and ancient temples in Egypt and ancient megalithic sites around the world looking for clues of sophisticated technology. The series is based on the extensive research done in Egypt and around the world by Dr. Carmen Boulter of the University of Calgary. Ron and Tommy say, "THANKS" to everyone...
The Benefit for Tommy on Sunday was fantastic! We are truly blessed to have so many great musicians and singers, not only in the Higher Sound Choir that kicked off the event (after Mike Runion and Peter Wells did three songs), but also the other groups that performed throughout the day. The people at Bluesboro were outstanding hosts and did a bangup job in pulling it all together...lots of hard work. Counting the money that came in before the event from those who could not be there, about $1500 was raised. I truly appreciate all the effort that went into this community event, and all the donations that will help Tom.
A little bragging... On Monday night I attended the 7th Annual Brevard Live-Music Awards at the Hennegar Center in Downtown Melbourne; and Tom's primary band, ElephantGun, was awarded "Favorite Original Band of the Year!" I was so proud, especially with all he has been through over the past month or so.
Again, mine and Tommy's sincere thanks to everyone.
