WEEP & Hard Rock Rising Stars 2012 Competition
Deadline is Feb 6th!
Hello my friends!
I could use your help!
Our band WEEP (Melanie English, Julie Hall, Kimberly Paschke, Paula Voykto Taylor, and Robin Winkelmann) is in a contest to play in the Battle of the Bands at the Hard Rock in Orlando.
Our band wondered if you wouldn’t mind voting for us as well as sharing the link to encourage other local people to vote so we can get to the next level. Technically, you have to live within 100 miles of the Hard Rock in Orlando for your vote to count. If you don't live in that range, would you mind spreading the word to your friends and at least "liking" our fan page? We could use all the help we can get. Doing something big in music has always been my dream and you'd be helping me out a lot! :o)
You just need to download the WEEP song for the vote to count AND make sure your current city is listed on your Facebook profile. Here is the link:
 
This is one of our older songs and it's doing really well! We are currently in 9th place and if we hold in 9th place until after Feb 6, we get to play and compete at Hard Rock for the next level. Could be huge!

The first of this years events will be "Journey to India," an evening of experiences, shared by those who recently returned from their India adventure. We will be announcing the date and time soon.

We are already moving ahead; swiftly it seems into this mysterious year of 2012 and February closes the door on the past while opening doorways to new potential futures. This whole year you will have past prompting you and following you, unless you allow it to go and be done with. There will be some who do not want to release the past with the akash... however, it depends of your personality, not of your soul, as soul is prompting you to do just that, by bringing it up over and over until you see ... that you cannot move into another portal, unless you leave your old baggage behind... if you insist to carry it, you might be denied the entrance......or pay a heavy toll. For all who release, who understand that this is The Year for Newness on All Levels, this month of February especially will feel like one long joyful initiation..

SPIRITUAL DRUM CIRCLE with Fred Goodnight
Group drumming is a fun and exciting way to offset the effects of stress. All ages and levels are welcome. There will be a few percussion instruments to loan, but please bring a drum if you have one.

SUNSHINE HEALING SERVICE with Rev. Sigi Casey
No charge, love offering always appreciated to pay bills for electricity etc.
Rev. Sigi has held this service since 1993 in her center and is offering this powerful prayer circle to heal and send Reiki to all who have asked to be on the healing list as well as to the ones who are present. All Reiki practitioners are welcomed to lay on hands on people present while they are in sitting position. Absentee Reiki will be sent to all on the prayer list as well. Pure intent and willingness to speak the word for one another as well as for self and the trust in the outcome is all that is required.

CLASSES & WORKSHOPS
Intermediate Psychic Development Class Series (begins 6 week series and runs through February 22)
Wednesday, 01/18/2012, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Each class will work with Conscious Astral Travel. These classes will delve more deeply into each subject, helping your expand your gifts.
Auras & Chakras
Work on mending tears in auras. Activating and charging chakras with different colors for healing, clearing and empowering. We will work with the new colors for the chakras.
Crystals
We will learn how to use crystals in spiritual healing. We will cover how to program crystals for specific functions, explanation of crystals and their purposes. We will practice doing crystal layouts on each other.
Psychometry
We will pick up on the energies and emotions from pictures and objects you bring and do readings.
Pendulums & Dowsing
Divination with dowsing rods and pendulums to find energies and answers to questions.
Tarot & Oracle Readings
Bring your deck of cards and learn how to work with them in a safe andeasy way.
Mediumship
This will take us into channeling spirits on the other side and gaining answers to help others find peace.

Reiki Classes with Rev. Sigi Casey (ongoing)
Rev. Sigi Casey is a Traditional Reiki Master, a Reiki Practitioner since 1982; and she is offering classes in the Usui System of Natural Healing.
She became a Teacher in 1997.
Learn the ancient Healing Technique now made affordable to anyone who has the desire to fulfill ones birthright for good health for Self and for serving others. Certificates given after each level.
Reiki I opens the upper four chakras and the palms which clear all channels to healing energy. Duration of class is about 10 hours, 3 on Friday night and 7 on Saturday. You
learn hand positions.
Cost: $100.
Reiki II takes your energy to a higher degree of intensity and ability. You are taught the necessary symbols to perform absentee healing.
Cost: $100.
Reiki III is the Advanced Practitioner level which gives a person the ability to venture deeply into the service of Healing other people. You receive the Master symbol and certification.
Cost: $200.
Reiki IV is the level which gives the Advanced Master Practitioner the right and ability to teach Reiki to all students. Not many students feel the calling for this step unless they are committed to teaching Reiki to others.
Cost: $400.
